Disturbed brushy areas, sandy soil, elements of original
chaco forest (Celtis ehrenbergiana) and many weedy
species (Solarium lorentzii, S. consimile).
Shrubs to 2.2 m. tall, with wet-dog odor. Corolla light
violet. Fruit orange.
