KOSRAE: Malem Municipality. Malem, yard of Andy George's home with
cultivated ornamentals, surrounded by agrofbrest and swamp forest with
Horefieldia, Neubergia, Cocos, Hibiscus tiliaceus, Melochia, and Cyrtosperma.
Herb 30-40 cm tall with fleshy stems. Leaves rugose, shiny bronzed green
above, purplish below, fleshy. Calyx red, green at base, corolla deep yellow
with red stripes. Cultivated, occasional.
