Short coniferous forest with Picea dominant, plus Abies in canopy.
Frequent Larix. Understory of shrubby Pinus pumila, and open
patches of herbs and low shrubs.
In fruit [sic: cones], green turning to blue. Ground covering shrub,
growing under Pinus pumila.
