Sandy seasonally wet areas bordered by campo rupestre. Locally
common growing sympatrically with L. adamantium, L.
bradeana, L. chamaepitys, L. imbricata, and L. rigida.
Shrub to 1 m tall. Petals white or white flushed with pink or pink
on different plants in the same population. Filaments, stamens,
pedoconnectives and anthers yellow.
