Brazil. Acre. Santa Rosa do Purus Mun. Rio Chambuiacu, right-bank tributary of Rio Purus defining border with Peru. Water 1-2m below maximum, ca. 30m across at mouth but only 8m wide 3 km from mouth.

Habitat
Undulating terrain, forest regenerating from Guadua bamboo Die-back several years ago. Canopy open, relatively few trees, dense understory, many vines and lianas. Rare. Poorly drained soils.

Description
liana. Liana/vine 4m in tree, flowers closed at 9 a.m., white except anthers yellow. Latex white. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
