On gentle NE slope of rocky ridge, in well-drained sandy soil pockets among
rocks of old blue calcrete, in full sun. Native and locailycommon. Desert to
Succulent Karoo with Euphorbia hamata. Dregeochloa, Astndia longiiblia,
Conophytum and. Pelargonium.
Perennial, succulent dwarf shrub up to 40 cm high, with white latex. Leaves
alternate, simple, glabrous, leaf margins entire. Inflorescence pale yellow-green
cyathium.
