Habitat
In houseyard. A few sterile individuals seen in nearby pastures and a few others noticed as ornamentals scattered in the lower parts of La Paz.

Description
Vigorous shrub, 2 m. tall, cultivated as an ornamental. Leaves green above, white-tomentose below. Flowers odorless; corolla white with purple star. Fruit globose, green and greenish white mottled, said to be yellow like a lemon when mature. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.

Seems to be little known in the area; the owner was not aware that it was poisonous although he had tasted the fruit and found it to be unpleasant.
