A name Bentham & Hooker f. picked up from the herbarium
label of the /?. Spruce specimens No. 5781, collected in the
Ecuadorean Andes in 1857=1859. The name is mentioned in
"synonmy" of Scirpus subterraneus Boeckeler, and is not an
accepted name, and is not described as new by Bentham and Hooker.f.
