Belham River Valley. Shrublands near beach. Large tree ca.
9 m tall branching into two main stalks ca. 0.5 m in
diameter. Tree surrounded by brush, very few tress nearby.
Many ants living in holes in tree bark. Bark light to dark
brown. Young leaves and rachis grass green; the tops of
older leaves dark green. Petals dark salmon pink
transitioning to dark yellow at the tips; calyx yellow-green;
anthers white transitioning to bright pink distally. No
distinct smell.
