Outside of Montserrat Volcanic Observatory. Cultivated
flower bed along side of the building. Many-branched shrub
ca. 2 m tall. Bark yellow-green tan, flakey. Flowers pale
canary yellow. Young fruit grass green, older fruits dark
brown, the inside light brown; seeds the same shade of light
brown. Piney smell when cut.
