Rosaceae Primus virginiana L., probably cv. “Schubert” det.M. Nee, 2016 WISCONSIN, Richland Co., 3 miles SE of center of Richland Center. T 10 N; R 1 E; N&&NEV6 sect. 35. 43°18’25.5”N, 90°19*59*,W. alt. 227 m. Commercial cultivated ornamental treelet, 4 m. tall, 10 cm. in diameter (16 cm. in diameter when cut down for wood specimen on 14 Jan. 2019). Voucher for wood specimens at Kw, Lw, MADw, MEXUw, RSAw, Penn State. Foliage deeply purplish in summer, only the many, vigorous 1.5 m. tall sprouts are green. Flowers abundant, lightly and pleasantly fragrant, with somewhat musty odor; petals white; filaments white; anthers pale tan. Coll.: M. H. Nee 62906 4 May 2016 Missouri Botanical Garden (MO) 04238479
