Notes: Open shrubland dominated by Leptospermum and
Xyris ustulata, with dead (burnt) Banksia shrubs common. Soil
sandy.
Locally very frequent. Erect herb with scape green up to 1 m
high. Leaves green with red-brown sheaths, with mucilage
present at leaf base. Perianth and style yellow; anthers
orange-yellow. Honey bees visiting flowers
