Disturbed clearing with weedy herbs on river abutting forest. Rocks, gravel, and brown sandy soil. Some cultivated plants: Musa, Mangifera, Persea, Citrus. Tree to 3 m tall. Leaves coriaceous, green with red midrib above, cream-green with brown tomentose on veins below. Orange latex present in all plant parts. 8 October 2006 K. M. Redden, C. Perry, P. Benjamin, D.
