Cultivated. Rhizomatous clumping perennial, pleudostems erect, 1.5 m, lvs distichous, green, aromatic. Infl. erect, bracts, calyx, stamens, tepals white, labellum white flushed w purple-pink. Fruits purple-black, shiny, globose, seeds brown. From seed coll. Philippines.
