Smith (US) 2002 onno Gabon: Gamba Complex : Rabi; clearing edge of Ossenge Camp. 1° 56' 00" S x 9° 53' 00" E, Elevation: 20 to 100 m. Clearing. Edge of Ossenge Camp, Vine growing along ground and vertically over overturned tree's base; flowers yellow below, orange above; calyx tube and ovary green; stigmas orange, fruit pendant, lightish green turning green to orange; flowers delicate and easily dislodged. Male flowers apparently morning only; corolla pale yellow outside, pale yellow inside; anthers yellow-orange, clumped together in throat of corolla; calyx whitish, green veins, esp. the mid veins of lobes.
