The New York Botanical Garden Plants of BOLIVIA Convolvulaceae Merremia umbellata (L.) Hallier f. det. M. Nee, 2010 DEPTO. Santa Cruz, Prov. Santiestevan, 23 km (straight line) NW of bridge at Chane Independencia 16°50’42”S, 63°23’41”W. alt. 220 m. Very flat, silty soil, mostly cleared of forest for fields of Saccharum officinarum, Glycine max. Disturbed area along shallow drainage ditch between road and fields, the ditch mostly leaving recently dried soil, but some water still in the deeper part. Vine with grasses on soil mound, probably above most of the flooding. Corollas bright yellow. Coll.: M. Nee 55735 22 May 2008 04236569
