Elev. 900 to 950 m. Sandy banks and near river,
hillside forest, and hilltop sand savanna. Epiphyte ± 1
m tall, leaves yellow-green, pinkish inside leaf base;
upper bracts below inflor. pink; inflor. white. On
trees at ±2 m; flower petals blackening when wilting.
