Conservatory. 40.86521, -73.881607, 30.48 m elev. Cultivated garden bed.
Vase-shaped shrub, 3-3.75 meters tall. Leaf surfaces are green, underside
gray-green and puberulent. Leaf surface extremely smooth, suede/leather-
like texture. Leaves and stems scented like sage. Young bark, brown-gray
and smooth. Mature bark gray, blocky and scaly.
