RANCHO SANTA ANA BOTANIC GARDEN Flora of the San Gabriel Mountains Los Angeles County, California, U.S.A. Valerianaceae Centranthus ruber (L.) DC. SAN GABRIEL CANY ON: Just inside its mouth on the E side of the drainage; steep, seepy, N-fadng slope. TIN R10W, SE/4 SE/4 SW/4 NE/4 section 23; elevation ca. 805 feet. Naturalized locally on seepage; associated with Eriogonum fasciculatum, Cercocarpus betuloides, Ceanothus oliganthus, Galium angustifolium, Salvia mellifera, and Baccharis salicifolia.
