other native species. Lindera benzoin, Kalmia latifolia, Amelanchierx
grandiflora, in area.
Plant in two parts: roots; stem and flowers. Leaves highly dissected,
feathery. Stems arching, leafless. Flowers nodding, pink. Root
rhizomatous.
