Pinedale, center of T39N, R109W, W of
Gypsun Creek and USFS Rd. 102.
Elev. 9500 ft. in subalpine park on S
side of Mtn., shade of old growth spruce,
site nearly level, rich loam with large
rocks, ca. 50% vegetative cover, the
dominants: Geranium viscossimum, Agropyron
pseudorepens, Bromus, Helenium hoopesi i,
Thalictrum occidentale, Epilobium
angustifolium, Lupinus argenteus; also
with Poa nervosa, P. pratensis.
Basal clusters of leaves from clumps to
3 dm. broad.
