-7. lm. Cultivated species in botanical garden setting, place in a mulched
bed surrounded by mowed lawn. Nearby species include conifers.
Solitary specimen, about 4.5-6m tall. Red female cones present near the
top of the tree, hanging downwards. Greenish-grey bark. Older foliage is
glaucous underneath and dark green on the top.
