Fennimore, small roadside park, just S of the Co. Hwy. T
turnoff.
43°02’15”N, 90°39’41”W. alt. 375 m.
Broad ridgetop with rich soil. 22 plants, to 2.2 m. tall. Flower
white, visited by bumblebees (3:00 P.M., sunny). Only one
other patch of a few plants seen along Hwy. 61 between
Fennimore and Boscobel.
In seldom-mowed field adjacent to the park, with Daucus
carota, Pastinaca sativa, many seedlings of Fraxinus
pennsylvanica var. subintegerrima, Melilotus albus, M.
officinalis, Bromus inermis.
