Grassy, unshaded roadside with Solidago, Helianthus, flat
ridgetop, most surrounding land in fields of Zea mays. Eight
plants, to 2.2 m. tall. Corolla and anthers white. Other than
this patch there is no Dipsacus along Hwy. 18 between
Fennimore and the colony at the jet. with Hwy. K at Mount
Ida (see also Nee 55531).
