removed, but resprouting. Three trunks; stems
20 and 25 cm. in diameter, and one larger one which is
rotten. Fruit abundant, hanging, yellow-green, immature.
Voucher for wood specimen, MADw.

It was received as H. carolina in 1906 from Andorra Nursery,
Chestnut Hill PA, as a plant. In 1987 some cuttings were taken
which has resulted in a second specimen of this accession.
