Holst (SEL), 2002 The United States of America. Florida, Sarasota County. T. Mabry Carlton, Jr. Memorial Reserve, ca. 3 kilometers (by air) north of US 75, about 2 kilometers (by air) east of the Mayakka River, along trail near creek. 27¦ 7.6'N: 82¦ 20.1'W (coordinates from hand-held GPS; accurate to within a radius of about 50 m) Upland pine flatwoods with scattered Pinus elliottii and Quercus virginiana, occasional Sabal palmetto, shrub layer dominated by Serenoa repens; area periodically burned.
