At base of steep, east-facing slope along flood-
plain of the Savannah River. Site #54 (Lat.
34¦14½45"; Long. 82044"55"), about 0.75 mile
south of the Ga. 368 bridge over the Savannah
River. Below the 475-ft. contour (full pool
for proposed Russell Lake). Area to be
impounded in the mid-1980fs.
