The New York Botanical Garden Plants of BOLIVIA Campovassouria cruciata (V e\\.) R. M. King & H. Rob. det. M. Nee, 2011 Depto. Santa CRUZ, Prov. Vallegrande, gravel road from Vallegrande to La Lagunilla (and on to Moro Moro), 3.3 km (by road) S of La Lagunilla. 18°23’45”S, 64°15’20”W. alt. 2505 m. Patch of forest on slope, with Podocarpus parlatorei, Alnus acuminata, Cedrela, Oreopanax, Rhamnus. Shrub 3.5 m. tall, with stem 4 cm. in diameter at base, with many straight erect flowering stems. Inflorescence lightly and pleasantly fragrant (3:30 P.M., cloudy bright), the buds purplish; style branches nearly white when exsert. Coll.: M. Nee & J. M. Mendoza F. 57524 1 Jan. 2011 04230426
