area known in collections at turn of century as
Hacienda de Licay, near Rio Chanchon ,hill behind
(north) of Huigra on old road from Guayaquil to
Riobamba, trail starting from railroad track ~ 1 km to
east of town and uphill to stream crossing through
pasture and pea and bean fields, mosdy dry heavily
disturbed vegetation with few native trees and
occasional pockets of wet native vegetation with
Begonia, Anthuriwn, and Passiflora in open sunny
area near cultivated fields, herbaceous vine over
vegetation, corolla green
