    Growing in an Oak-Hickory Mesic Woodland under Fagus grandiflora grove, with Acer platanoides, Quercus rubra, Quercus velutina, Carya tomentosa, and Lindera benzoin in the immediate area.

    Plants all white. At least 12 clumps in the immediate area. No trace of this species was seen during the previous year of field work; its appearance this year may be due to the high amount of rain fall. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
