RANE 7518-7529: Understory seemingly depaup-
erate (no Polygonatum, Uvularia, Smilacina,
_, Viola or Aralia and very little
Maianthemum, Trientalis or Cornus canadensis);
present are: Oryzopsis asperifolia, Carex arc-
tata, C. pedunculata, Clintonia borealis, Ac-
ta ea rubra, Dirca palustris, Pyrola elliptica,
Diervilla lonicera, Acer rubrum seedlings and
Rubus parviflorus & R. strigosus in the deep-
er depressions.
