Rockwood, along gravel road, nearly beneath the overpass of
1-40. 35°53’45”N, 84°43’38”W. alt. 430 m.
Type locality of Pinns strobus L. ssp. cumberlandensis
Silba. Dißturbed young forest; along gravel road, Pinus
strobus, P. virginiana, Sassafras albidum, Cornus florida,
Quercus alba, Carya, Acer rubrum, Rhus copallina,
Liriodendron tulipifera, Tsuga canadensis, Ilex opaca.
Erect herbs in understory. Leaves marked dark and pale
green.
