In wet pine flatwoods, the pines widely spaced
from each other, with a few small pond cypress
intermixed, also associated with titi and
Hypericum chapmanii. Specimens numbered
82889 from a single stem in a thicket of stems
about 5 m across and to 4 m tall. Specimens
numbered 82990 from a shrub 1.3 m tall and
with 10 stems from the same base. By Fla.
rd 65 4.5 miles s of Sumatra, Apalachicola
National Forest.
