Crawford Co. line.

Along portion of old road near entrance to Lower
Wisconsin Wildlife Area, in Wisconsin River valley, but
well above the flood plain. Grassy and brushy, with Acer
negundo, Populus deltoides, Fraxinus pensylvanica, Celtis
occidentalis, Viburnum lentago, much naturalized Lonicera
x bella complex.
Shrub 1.5 m. tall, to 2.5 m. tall here, much-branched.
Perhaps planted (near some Picea abies), but certainly also
much is escaped here. Flowers hanging, pale yellow-green,
plesantly and lightly fragrant.
