Catahoula Parish: About 2.8 air miles W-NW of Spring Ridge
Baptist Church, upper drainage of Sugar Creek just west of gas
pipeline crossing; rich woods of Beech-Magnolia-Loblolly, with
Asimina triloba, Aesculus pavia, Dirca palustris, Trillium,
Epifagus, Tipularia--31°5r32"N 91°59’32"W, elev. 55 m (on
top of low ridge) T10N R5E S7 SE,NE&NW. Locally
abundant understory shrubs to ca. 1.5 m, just past peak of
flowering and starting to fruit.
