Growth intermediate between ssp. Eamesii and asp»
hermaphroditum„ New twigs short, somewhat red,
and often slightly hairy, but not woolly. Gland-
ular. Leaves short, size as in ssp. Eamesii, but
wrinkled as in ssp. hermaphroditum. Compact, erect,
Fruits intermediate or almost as large as in ssp.
hermaphroditum* None with anthers attached. Some
branches purely female, others purely male. Sta-
mens moderately long. Golor of fruit blue-black.
