Harvard University, Gray Herbarium (GH) PLANTS OF FLORIDA Asimina reticulata Shuttlew. ex. Chapm. ANNONACEAE Small shrubs 1-3 ft tall, common, flowers fragrant, petals white abaxially. Growing in moist sandy-organic soil in a dry-mesic prairie, with Andropogon brachystachyus, Aristida beyrichiana, Carphephorus carnosus (rare), Dichanthelium leucothrix, Euthamia tenuifolia, Hypericum tetrapetalum, Hypoxis juncea, Lachnocaulon beyrichianum, Quercus minima, Serenoa repens, Syngonanthus flavidulus, Xyris brevifolia and X. caroliniana. To the NE comer of Management Unit 7, just SE of the NE comer of Alpha Range. Avon Park Air Force Range, Polk Co. Elev. about 75ft. 27° 38' 08"N, 81° 17' 04"W. UTM 17 471943E, 3056850N. Coll.
