PLANTS OF MISSISSIPPI COLLECTED FOR THE BOTANICAL GARDENS AND THE HERBARIUM OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN Nymphaea odorata Ait. * Forrest Co.: Lake Shelby State Park, 13 miles south of Hatties- burg, boggy areas with Magnolia vtrgmiana, Myrica, Rhododen- dron, et al. in depressions and open pine woods on higher ground. Common in shallow water at edge of Lake Shelby. Leaves green above, dull red below; petioles red. Sepals green, petals pore white, anthers and stignas yellow. G. L. WEBSTER & R. L.
