The New York Botanical Garden Plants of BOLIVIA yzxceciC. Ceefeiespermaeeae Cochlospermum tetraporum Hallier det. M. Nee, 2011 DEPTO. SANTA CRUZ, Prov. Vallegrande, valley of small stream, 2 km NE of confluence with the Rio Mizque in the Pampa Negra area, 25.8 km by gravel road SW from junction with the Vallegrande-Lagunilla and Moro Moro road. 18°31’26”S, 64°16’44”W. alt. 1065 m. Arid valley, heavily grazed, with shrubs and scattered trees forming a thin cover, with Bougainvillea campanulata, Ruprechtia triflora. Tree 12 m. tall, the base of the trunk 1 m. in diameter. Bark smooth, coppery, peeling off in papery layers; exposed roots with the same kind of bark. Flowers visited by large black bumblebee (12:00 noon, cloudy bright).
