NNW of Vallegrande, along highway from Vallegrande to
Mataral, winding descent from the Vallegrande area into the
valley of Muyurina and El Trigal.
18°23’03”S, 64°08’40”W. alt 1805 m.
Dry slopes with grazed shrubland with scattered large
Schinopsis marginata, Harrisia tetracantha and other
columnar cacti.
On unshaded roadside gravel. Herb 6 dm. tall. Color scheme
of flowers similar to that of no. 57696 Heliotropium
amplexicaule, but at the middle stage of development the
corolla white.
