    On a low sandy area 20 feet from a salt marsh. Frequented by a multitude of bees. With Opuntia humifusa, Toxicodendron radicans, Amelanchier canadensis, Solidago sempervirens, Juniperus virginiana, Morelia pennsylvanica, and Quercus stellata.

    Low, mounding shrubs to 6.5 ft. Petals pure white, anthers, golden yellow, filaments yellow at base, turning white. Abundant along the hook. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
