WISCONSIN, Juneau Co., between Hwy. 80 and railroad, at intersection with 12th Street, 10.3 km NNW of Hwy. 21 junction in Necedah. 44°06’41”N, 90°06’59”W. alt. 280 m. T 19 N; R 3 E; SE% sect. 15 and NEH sect. 22 Strip of dry prairie and thin woodland with Quercus ellipsoidalis, Pinus banksiana, Comptonia peregrina. Very flat, sandy soil. Shrublets to 0.55 m. tall, in patches of widely separated individuals. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Foliage pleasantly aromatic. Coll.: M.
