Strip of dry prairie and thin woodland with Quercus
ellipsoidalis, Pinus banksiana, Comptonia peregrina. Very
flat, sandy soil.
Shrublets to 0.55 m. tall, in patches of widely separated
individuals. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw.
Foliage pleasantly aromatic.
