PLANTS OF THE GUIANAS Violaceae Rinorea brevipes (Benth.) S.F. Blake Det. H.D. Clarke, VII2002 GUYANA. U. Takutu-U. Essequibo Region. Wassarai Mts., slopes of unnamed peak, 12 km S of S. Kassikaityu R., 1.0-1.5 km E of camp. Elevation: 500-750 m. 1°33'54"N 59°14'18"W. Dense forest on reddish, sandy clay, Bertholettia, Pouteria and Rinorea.
