Mostly in open meadow sites, but less common in Aspen understory/edge. Elev.: 10000 ft./ 3048 m. T 13 S, R 86 W, S 3 SE1/4 NE1/4 III 38.95836° N -106.98269° W [WGS84] ± 100 m. <estimate> 04200250 Compact heads becoming more diffuse with age. Corolla short, tubular with only slight swelling at base. Flowers all white with a greenish tinge. Flowering plants extremely common this year - one of the most abundant blooming species in meadows.
