Brushy strips between fields (abandoned ca. 1983), originally subtropical semi- deciduous forest, flat, fine sandy soil. Tecoma stans, Solanum riparium, Guazuma ulmifolia, early second-growth species. Dense bushy shrub 2 m. tall between fields A and B. Sap milky. A few red berries but abundant white flowers. Coll.: M.
