SE of Comunidad Don Lorenzo. Very dry chaco scrub vegetation. Flat, sandy soil, with clay soil in slight depressions ("curichis") which are seasonally flooded. With Trithrinax, Copernicia alba, Acanthosyris falcata, Diplokeleba floribunda. 17°49f30"S, 62°50'W. alt. 320 m. Shrub 2.5 m. tall. Flowers white, very inconspicuous. Fruit red. Coll.: M. Nee & G.
