Santa Cruz: Ibanez. By the railway c. 1.5 km W of
Cotoca. Alt. 250 m.
Lowland plain with muddy soil, with extensive chaco forest
relics and rough seasonally swampy pasture. Scattered
plants along the margins of dense chaco forest on mud -
possibly seasonally flooded.
Small shrub to 3 m. Leaves thickish, dark green. Corolla
white. Fruit fleshy, red.
