Secondary (30-40 years old) subtropical
semi-deciduous forest, the trees to 15 m.
tall, dominated by Anadenanthera macrocar pa,
Gallesia integrifolia, Rhamnidium elaeocarpum.
Shrub 4 m. tall near the vivero. Sap milky.
Flowers lightly fragrant, white with yellow; fruit
green, the largest bright orange-red within when
cut open.
