Notes: Eucalyptus agglomerata plantation, along
edge of road. Watagan State Forest.
Locally abundant. Erect to spreading shrub, to 3
m high, diam. 1.5-2 m. Leaves mid-green *
strongly aromatic when crushed. Calyx maroon.
Corolla mauve. Staminal filaments and style
pale mauve; anthers mauve. Fruits with calyx
lobes often strongly recurved. Flowers visited
by native bees. 1 specimen per plant in
population. Flowers on last years growth
