Normal stems from a many stemmed clump, perennial,
on dry bare reddish-yellow soil, disturbed area on the
east side of the dirt road (Ponderosa Way), south of an
intersection, a gated road goes southeast, on Cohasset
Ridge, about 4 miles (air) northeast of Cohasset.
Uncommon, perhaps one plant spreading by rhizomes
Flowers pink. Yellow Pine Forest. Elevation 3680 (by
map), 3652 (by GPS) feet.
